Once again we are going to help out taking admission for the Bead Expo at the Elks Hall in Middletown. CTBS gets all the admission fees. We will need volunteers to man the table. Diane, Shannon and RuthAnn are not going to beable to be there so we really need volunteers. Contact Sharon at sbmann2@comcast.net
May 18 Road Trip to Beachside Glass Studio
We will make visit to Mary Ann Delorenzo's Beach House Glass Studio.
4 Hill Street, Westbrook, Ct 06498
Mary Anne will give us a tour of her studio and tell us how she makes her fabulous lampwork beads. Starts a 12:00.
While Mary Anne takes groups of five into her studio you will have the opportunity to shop a selection of her handmade beads Great way to spruce up your summer jewelry with her glass creations.
Also Mary Anne has some books, finding, etc. given to CTBS as a donation The last time we had a donation of this kind members were asked to shop the selection and pay what they thought was fair. All proceeds will go to CTBS for the Barbara Lynch scholarship fund.
