The Connecticut Bead Society is a volunteer driven non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the joy of beading through inspiration and education. We provide the opportunity to meet kindred spirits with similar goals and take pleasure in our art and in each others company. |
January Meeting
1/8/2022
![]() ![]() Our next class is coming up THIS SUNDAY, January 8 at our usual time and place. Diane Haberer will show us how to do 7-strand Kumihimo with beads. This is an easier version than 8-strand Kumihimo. The movement of only seven strand simplifies the movements and results in a nice beaded rope. Pictured is Sally Beads’ 7-strand template to use for this project. If you don’t already own a template, Diane will bring some to the meeting for you, or you can simply turn your own disc over and write the alphabetical letters at the corresponding slots as shown in the picture.
